Associate Director, Quality - Phoenix, AZ:
8 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday
$120,000 - $150,000
15% Bonus - Financial Goal and individual performance
5 years of management experience minimum
Strong Leader / Hands-on Leader
Background in regulatory inspections - FDA & DEA
Background in Microbiology / Chemistry
Quad Recruitment is currently partnered with the nation's largest network of outsourcing admixture pharmacies. This organization is looking for an Associate Director of Quality to join them at their facility in Phoenix, Arizona.
This is a State-licensed and FDA-registered pharmacy that delivers solutions from more locations than any other national compounder.
Each pharmacy is managed by a pharmacist with well-established compounding expertise. The Associate Director of Quality will manage a team of licensed pharmacists and certified technicians trained on company Standard Operating Procedures. This organization employs a QA team of chemists, microbiologists, and on-site quality assurance personnel.
Responsibilities: Essential Duties:
Responsible for all quality functions within the organization.
Develops and implements strategies for ensuring that organizational products and processes meet established quality standards.
Establishes or administers an organizational quality management system and monitors progress against strategic quality-related goals.
Identifies potential quality failures, establishes methods for evaluating the quality of raw materials or components, in progress goods, processes, or operations, and oversees development and implementation of corrective actions.
Solicits internal and external feedback with the goal of continuously improving processes or products.
May represent the organization during external inspections or audits.
Expertise: Knowledge & Skills:
Requires full working knowledge of relevant business practices and procedures in the professional field.
Uses standard theories, principles, and concepts and integrates them to propose a course of action.
Manages entry to intermediate-level employees of a department or a function with 1 or 2 sections. Ensures budgets, schedules, and performance requirements are met.
Some degree of judgment is required in resolving problems based on experience.
Interacts with internal and/or external clients and customers to negotiate and interpret information on projects and unit operations.
May consult with senior management.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree required.
10-12 years of related experience required.
Applicable industry/professional certification preferred.
