​IV Pharmacy Technician - Pittsburgh, PA

• Full Time - 8:30 am - 5 pm Monday to Friday (Rotating Weekends)

• $22.00 Per Hour

• End of Year Bonus - Up to 6%

• No experience is needed with IV or Sterile Compounding (It is preferred)

• PTCB is Preferred but not essential

Quad Recruitment is currently on the lookout for Pharmacy Technicians to join the nation's largest admixture pharmacies at their facility in Pittsburgh, PA. This position is non-patient facing and is within a sterile room setting.

If you are a PTCB Certified Pharmacy Technician this is preferred, however, this business is open to taking Registered Pharmacy Technicians who are interested in completing their certification within the first 8 months of joining this business.

Responsibilities:

• Adheres to all company policies and procedures

• Prepares compounded sterile products using an aseptic technique

• Assists in the setup of the compounding room, equipment, and supplies for the preparation of compounded sterile solutions, using an aseptic technique.

• Performs general cleaning and maintenance duties as directed

• Participates in clean room product introduction activities

• Prepares records and monitors results for pharmaceutical quality assurance testing

Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacy Technician in the State of Pennsylvania (Essential)

• PTCB Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technicians (Preferred)
