We are looking for an ambitious pharmacist to join a fantastic client of ours as a Nuclear Pharmacist in New York.

Accountabilities:

• Take telephone orders from customers. Learn how to use Order Receipt and Order Entry systems.

• Prepares and dispenses radiopharmaceuticals in keeping with the prescription and company, state, and federal regulations.

• Performs quality control tests, and packages the doses for shipping to the customer in keeping with the prescription and Company, State and Federal regulations.

• Knows the inventory and regulatory programs by knowing how to handle the incoming and outgoing check-in and packaging. 

• Prepare and oversee the maintenance of nuclear pharmacy records, reports and radiation disposal logs.

• Ensure compliance with radiation and laboratory safety of the site, including the ability to address chemical or radioactive spills and reporting.

Qualifications:

• B.S. or Pharm.D. from an accredited pharmacy school required; nuclear certification preferred.

• State license required

• Communicates effectively

• Ability to work as part of a team
