Pharmacy Hours – Monday to Friday 8:30am - 8pm |Saturday - 9am - 6pm |Sunday 9am - 5pm
Quad Recruitment are currently supporting a chain of Retail Pharmacies who are actively looking for a supervising pharmacist to join them in Essex Junction, VT. If you are looking to join an organization that values its staff and can offer lots of internal progression, this is it.
Successful candidates will have an active license as a Pharmacist in the State of Vermont. You will be supported with a Store Manager and other brilliant healthcare professionals.
Responsible for adherence to the company Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions and counsel patients.
Responsible for the performance of all quality assurance steps to ensure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed. Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelines.
Responsible for the adherence to all State and Federal guidelines governing the practice of Pharmacy.
Responsible for the management and balancing of the pharmacy inventory to maximize turns while still remaining in-stock for customer needs.
Ensures prescription files and other manual records are maintained in accordance with all state and federal guidelines.
Oversees the maintenance of the pharmacy department to provide a clean, professional environment that protects customer and employee safety.
Maintains and develops professional relationships with doctors and others in the health service professions.
Assists in the development of an annual pharmacy department operating budget and operate the pharmacy department within the budgetary guidelines.
Interacts with Store Manager in the appropriate completion of hiring practices, performance reviews and disciplinary actions of pharmacy department personnel.
Responsible for the assignment of duties and assisting in the scheduling of Pharmacy staff to ensure payroll and productivity budget guidelines are met.
Responsible for the training and development of all pharmacy department personnel necessary to perform duties.
Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Pharm.D
Must have an active pharmacy license in the State of Vermont
