Job Title: Head of Clinical Services / Matron

Location: West Yorkshire

Hours: 37.5

Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 DOE

Shift Patterns: Mon-Fri

On Call expectation Shared with SLT – 1 week in 4

Quad Recruitment is currently working with a Private Hospital in West Yorkshire who are actively looking for a Head of Clinical Services (Matron) to join them on a full time Permanent appointment.

This is a great opportunity to work for a leading provider of private healthcare with an excellent team of highly skilled consultants and matron-led nursing staff. They are looking for someone to join the team in the long run and to climb the career ladder.

Skills/Experience required:

  • Healthcare Professional Nursing Qualification – RN
  • Experience in elective surgical environment
  • Previous senior clinic leadership position
  • Proven ability to successfully lead and motivate a clinical services team providing strong strategic direction and positive leadership
  • Proven experience working at a senior management level within the health care industry
  • Proven strategic planning, workforce analysis and policy development skills
  • Demonstrated ability to lead Continuous Improvement processes in a Health Care facility and achieve sound outcomes
  • Knowledge and understanding of contemporary clinical risk management strategies that are effective in promoting and ensuring high quality patient care
  • Sound computer skills using the MS Office Suite and Web based reporting systems
  • Aware of the relevant legislative requirements and governing body reporting responsibilities of hospital/ clinical services departments

Nice to have:

  • Previous Independent sector experience
  • Demonstrated sound financial management and administrative skills in a Health Care facility
  • Demonstrated understanding of private and public health sector funding models
