Quad Recruitment is on the hunt to find the best Java Software Engineers in the Northwest to come and work for a technology division within one of the largest employers in the Chester area. The role will be focused on the back end of a customer login platform and deal with any problems that may arise. This is a team that is always growing and you job will be to work closely with others and regularly introduce new members of the team around the systems. There are many senior engineers within the team that can help and support you throughout your journey within the organisation.
Good communication skills including written and verbal and a must for this position. You will have regular meetings with peers and must be able to get you points across in a clear and concise manner whether it be written or verbal. There is always plenty of work to be getting on with, you must have good organisational skills and can multitask and priorities work when necessary.
Manage your accounts to the maximum of your capabilities.
Ensure all of your work meets the client’s requirements and always meets the standard required
Understands and implements company technical policies, governance and security requirements
Hands on development of software components demonstrating a flexible and enthusiastic approach.
Good commercial experience of Java/J2EE
Flexible, responsive, enthusiastic, ability to work alone and as part of a team.
Exposure to Oracle database systems, PL/SQL, MYSQL, SQL, DDL
Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and Web Service
Experience with CSS3 and awareness of one or more JSF2 frameworks i.e. Primefaces, Richfaces would be advantageous
