You'll be providing support for day-to-day living, such as social activities, sports, and hobbies, employment, holidays etc. We have a very active service where we encourage to promote the independence of our service users. You will provide support for adults with learning disabilities and associated complex needs, including autistic spectrum conditions, mental health needs, challenging behaviour, profound and multiple learning disabilities and epilepsy. The people we support live in homely, family-like residences, and are encouraged to participate fully in the local community

Your mains duties:
You will work in shifts with a mixed ratio of early mornings, late evenings, weekends and bank holidays as required by the rota. However, you will always know your shift pattern as it will be discussed with you and booked for 4-6 weeks at a time.  We are keen to ensure that you are allocated to the service most suited to your abilities and personality; so, opportunities to transfer to other services are always available. You will work at one service, allowing consistency for both you and the people we support, and you will be paid for your full shift (full-time staff usually work 5 x 7.5 shifts in a week.)

Qualifications and Skills
our vision to ensure that ‘every moment has potential’ for the people we support, to learn new skills and to achieve their dreams, they are a good fit. If you have a NVQ/Diploma L2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and some experience in care work would be a bonus. However, we have fantastic training and will fund all your qualifications to gain these, so experience is by no means essential. Above all you need to be kind, caring and ready to help our teams ensure that our services are comfortable, happy, fulfilling and safe places to live.
