Support Worker
Location – Leicester
Pay - £8 to £9 per hour

About the role.
We specialise in providing a short Break to all families and carers of children and young people who have severe learning disabilities
Our sole purpose is to provide a short brake to the child and young person to allow their families and carers to have a respite from their caring commitments.
All of our care is located within a residential home.

We without fail will always provide a high quality that not only meets the families and carers needs but also benefit the child or young person by providing positive outcomes.
The Children and families are our number one priority. All our Support workers are trained and extremely professional with a fantastic down to earth personality. 

We would like you, as a support worker, to Provide appropriate quality care and support to our individuals who have Learning Disabilities and associated challenging behaviors. Although the challenging behavior is minimal.
Young People’s care needs will include practical, personal, behavioral, health, social and emotional needs
You will be working with a very down to earth, friendly and supportive team of support workers.

We are flexible with shifts. Our Shift pattern normally looks like this.
Monday to Sunday
7 am to 2pm
2pm to 11pm 
9am to 8pm

Experiences and skills.
To support service users to have a safe and homely environment and to help them live the life they want to live.
NVQ level 2 or above
(MVA) Managing Violent and Aggression or similar training
Staff rota comply of shift working, with 2 members of staff each
