Job description

Hello everybody,

I’m looking to hire a superstar to join a client of mine located in central Newcastle.

They’re a care/support centre for people with autism and are now looking at adding to their team with some extra hands to help them out due to some growth that the business has recently gone through due to the exceptional service that they give.

They have a day centre and next door they also have some homes that some of their clients live in and need the support of the excellent people that work here.

Although this is a support worker role, the role is really for a professional/caring friend to the people that you’ll be working with each day.

The role would require you to be there 3 days per week fulfilling 37.5 hrs which you can top up with over time if you wish.

You will be given an unheard of 6 weeks off per year (including bank holidays) that you can take off whenever you like. The UK average is 21 days.

They’re paying £9.32 per hour. - £350 per week as a minimum.

The site is a modern, upmarket working environment with a constant fully stocked kitchen to feed everybody that comes and goes.

They have a large onsite car park and is easily accessible to public transport.

It would be great if you have a Level 2 in Health & Social care but its not necessary. You would need to have experience in working with autism / challenging behaviour.

They’re looking for people that can start ASAP but if you have a few weeks until you can join then it isn’t a problem, if you’re a good support worker then they’ll have you whenever they can.

This is permanent employment and as such you will be eligible to all the benefits that come with it, such as the pension scheme.

If you’d like to discuss this role further, then please apply below and we’ll get a call set up to answer any questions that you have.
