Lead Pharmacist – Haywards Heath (Hospital Outpatient Pharmacy)

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Lead Pharmacist to head up operations at a newly opened, purpose-built outpatient pharmacy. Salary:
Up to £68,000 a year PLUS bonus
Working Pattern
Mon–Fri 9:00–6:00

What you'll be doing:
- Lead, coach, and develop the pharmacist team and the wider pharmacy operation
- Support operational planning and staff development
- Oversee SOP compliance and support team performance reviews
- Carry out clinical screening, accuracy checking, and patient counselling
- Ensure all dispensing and services meet high professional standards
- Collaborate on new service initiatives to reduce wait times and improve care
- Work alongside leadership to identify opportunities for growth
- Support timely, accurate, and safe supply of medicines
- Counsel patients and handle queries with professionalism
What you need:
✅ GPhC-registered Pharmacist (min. 3 years qualified)
✅ Experience as a Responsible Pharmacist
✅ At least 1 year managing pharmacy teams or clinical services
✅ Excellent communication, leadership, and planning skills
✅ Strong understanding of professional standards and compliance
✅ Experience in hospital pharmacy settings
