Job Title: Support Worker
Location: Burnley
Type of Employment: Permanent
Salary: £7.52ph up to £20,806 (£10,67ph) there is also a sleep-in rate.

We are a very family orientated company, provided the highest level of care for extremely vulnerable children who have had a very tough childhood.
We have seven homes across the North East including Blackpool, Burnley, Preston, Chorley and Morecambe.
You will provide high-quality child care practice, within a model of an integrated therapeutic approach, across all residential homes. You will be supporting your Registered Home Manager to ensure that a therapeutic environment is developed in accordance with the Company’s core values. You will ensure efficient and effective service delivery with a view to supporting the positive development of the staff, service and organisation and improved outcomes for every young person.

Your Role.
Your role will be to provide a safe, happy and loving environment to all of our children. We like to keep our homes small, no bigger than five bed. We believe a small home is more effective to help promote and support the children in a unique environment.  
Your career is very important to us, so will continually mentor, guide and support you through all of your qualifications.

Your mains duties:
You will actively safeguard and promote the welfare of the children and young people in our care.
You will promote the delivery of a safe, structured and nurturing environment and immediately report any unsafe practices, conditions or concerns.
You will assist in the implementation of care and placement plans, taking into account the views of the young person.
You will contribute to placement planning, participate in reviews and other meetings and write and edit reports when required.
You will ensure the delivery of all key worker responsibilities including the delivery of direct work.
