Job Description

Do you feel nervous by the classic sit down, formal interview? Do you think you’d be better in a casual and informal interview day? Could you make yourself available on the 8th of June? If so, I have the perfect day for you!

My wonderful client are holding an assessment day to find support workers!! It’s the best environment for them to see you relaxed and having a good time. Let’s be serious, there’s nothing worse than feeling nervous for an interview. Try this interview method, I promise it’s the preferred environment for them and you, lets you be who you are and what that’s what they want to see.

As a Support Worker you will work in a fun and charismatic environment where no one day will be the same as the last. You, as a Support Worker will help a group of adults with Learning Difficulties and complex needs get the most out of life through being their Support Worker, Companion and let’s not forget a Friend. There will be bonds formed which are unbreakable.

You will attend fun organised activities to stimulate and develop the Adults within the service. Activities such as; Bowling, Cinema trips, days out to the coast, Café’s, Restaurants, Theme Parks, London Days and many, many more!! Oh….and did I mention, these activities you get for FREE and all within your working hours.

Roles and Responsibilities of a Support Worker

As a Support Worker you will ensure that the adults within your care are being supported with enthusiasm, understanding and positivity. Its very important to allow them to make independent decisions to ensure they have the best opportunity to live independent lives. Through allowing independence you’ll see the wonderful personalities of each resident flourish. You will have some challenging days, there’s no denying, but don’t we all have good and bad days? Your work as a support worker will see you working with a group of support workers who also want the best for the residents.

The good stuff?? What’s in this for you??

We all know how expensive it can be to complete an NVQ, with this position you do not have to pay a single penny towards both NVQ Level 2 AND 3 in Health and Social Care!!! Think of the progression after gaining that!! If you have already got your NVQ in Health and Social, GREAT there will be that progression you’ve always wanted!! You will work within a well-established company who will support and devote time into you as one of their workers. I don’t know another company quite like it!

What do you need to be a support worker??

We can make a support worker out of you! However, the one thing that we cannot make and sculpt is PASSION! If you’ve got a natural passion for care and support that’s a very good start!! NVQ’S are not essential as they are provided. Experience is somewhat essential, here’s some valid experiences;

  • Residential homes
  • Care assistant
  • Support Worker
  • Private Carer (Family)
  • TA, SEN OR LSW
  • Voluntary work

If this all matches what you have and could give- APPLY NOW!!!

DON’T MISS OUT!!!
