Quad Recruitment is currently partnered with a very well-respected Community Pharmacy in the Bismarck area who are looking for a Pharmacist to join them in a full-time position.

Responsibilities:
- Encourage, embrace, and actively participate in all pharmacy programs including but not limited to synchronized filling, daily dose packaging, compounding, quality assurance, inventory control, specialty program, vitamins
- Ensure the proper opening and closing of the store overseeing all technicians and ensure pharmacy operations are conducted safely and according to pharmacy law. This includes the timely completion of all daily pharmacy tasks and checklists.
- Be willing to accept new responsibilities and opportunities that arise in the retail pharmacy space. Including but not limited to point of care testing, Tobacco Cessation, and other non-PBM forms of revenue.
- Assume responsibility for providing the highest level of customer care. Be aware and respond quickly to the customer’s needs including pharmacist phone calls, pharmacist consultations, answering the phone within 3 rings, and responding quickly to customers and lines at the register.
- Foster an environment of positivity and teamwork. This includes being punctual to work, leading by example and helping to oversee pharmacy technicians and ancillary staff to ensure they are meeting the requirements of their position, following proper workflow, and rotating among stations. This includes giving them feedback and direction in a constructive and professional manner.
- Perform consistent documentation of all quality related issues. This includes documenting and following through on all HIPAA incidents and errors that have reached the patient. These standards will be set and monitored by Quality Assurance.
- Check company communication daily when at work, to stay informed on company news and changes that may affect day to day tasks. Also, communicate these updates to staff that don’t have access to this information throughout the week to improve communication.
- To be an advocate for our patients, a resource for physicians and advisor to the support staff. The pharmacist is to assure that the patient’s prescriptions are filled accurately, timely and counselled appropriately all while upholding the values of Gateway Pharmacy.
- Review prescriptions and uphold professionalism through accuracy with prescription checking, prescriber consultation and answering patient questions and counselling appropriately.
- Maintains established procedures concerning quality assurance, security of controlled substances and disposal of hazardous waste drugs
Requirements:
- Valid Pharmacist license which must be in good standing
