Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the pharmacy staff
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Provide patient care, including medication dispensing, counselling, and vaccination
- Manage inventory and ordering of medications and supplies
- Stay up-to-date on the latest drug information
- Participate in continuing education activities
- Develop and implement policies and procedures for the pharmacy
- Recruit and train new pharmacy staff
- Budget for the pharmacy
- Represent the pharmacy to the public and other healthcare professionals
Requirements:
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree
- New York pharmacist license
- 3+ years of experience as a pharmacist
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and accuracy
