Pharmacist Opportunity – Fixed Term – Southampton
We are recruiting on behalf of our client a highly regarded UK community pharmacy group with a long history of delivering outstanding patient care for a Pharmacist to join their Southampton on a 12-month maternity cover contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a busy well-established community pharmacy with a supportive experienced team. You’ll play a central role in providing vital healthcare services while benefiting from excellent pay stability and development opportunities all with no weekend working.

About the Role
Based in Southampton this pharmacy has a strong reputation within its community built on excellent patient relationships and a broad range of services.
Key Aspects Include:
Dispensing 9,000 items per month.
Delivering NHS services, Pharmacy First, flu & COVID vaccinations, and private services.
Supporting 40 substance misuse patients and 40 community blister packs.
Leading and supporting a dedicated team of:
3x full-time Qualified Pharmacy Assistants
1x part-time Team Lead
1x part-time Technician/PA
The Ideal Candidate
Our client is seeking a Pharmacist who:
Holds an MPharm degree (or equivalent).
Has GPhC registration (or will have by start date).
Brings strong clinical and patient-care skills, with adaptability in a busy community setting.
Has management experience (preferred, but not essential).
