About Our Client:
Our client is a respected and established pharmacy based in Croydon. They are dedicated to exceptional patient care and prioritize accuracy in all their processes.
The Role:
We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our client’s team as an ACT. You'll play a vital role in safeguarding patient safety by rigorous reviewing and verifying prescriptions and pharmaceutical information.
Responsibilities:
- Become a master of accuracy by meticulously checking prescriptions for completeness, dosage, and potential interactions – all in line with NHS guidelines.
- Ensure medication labels and packaging adhere to strict regulations set by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA).
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records following General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) guidelines.
- Collaborate with pharmacists and technicians to keep the pharmacy running smoothly and efficiently.
- Uphold all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
What We're Looking For:
- NVQ level 3 qualified and registered with the GPhC.
- An eagle eye for detail and a passion for accuracy.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in relevant pharmacy software.
- The ability to work independently and seamlessly as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
