What You'll Do?
- Be the final guardian of medication safety by meticulously checking prescriptions and orders.
- Apply your clinical expertise to specialised prescriptions, including kidney dialysis, home healthcare, and travel needs.
- Maintain accurate records, raising errors and taking corrective action.
- Ensure medications are clearly labelled according to regulations.
- Collaborate with colleagues to prioritise specialised orders.
- Uphold the highest standards by following all SOPs, GPhC, and RPS guidelines.
- Verify patient information and ensure timely medication delivery.
- Handle medication returns efficiently and complete paperwork.
- Seamlessly transition responsibilities with colleagues.
- Continuously learn and share your knowledge on pharmacy advancements.
- Provide valuable medication insights to patients, healthcare professionals, and the team.
- Address patient complaints professionally with thorough investigation and resolution.
Qualifications -
- Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC.
- MPharm Degree
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
