Responsibilities:
- Responsible for adherence to the Standard of Practice to dispense prescriptions and counsel patients
- Responsible for the performance of all quality assurance steps to ensure a technically accurate prescription is dispensed. Reports dispensing incidents in a timely manner, in accordance with company guidelines
- Responsible for the adherence to all State and Federal guidelines governing the practice of Pharmacy
- Oversees and is responsible for the initial submission, resubmission and collection of all third party claims
- Responsible for the management and balancing of the pharmacy inventory to maximize turns while still remaining in-stock for customer needs. Oversees the transmitting, processing and receiving of orders to and from the Warehouse and additional suppliers as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum: BS or Pharm D degree in Pharmacy Experience:
- Posses and maintain a valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy
- Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of a shift
- Certified immunizer
- Previous experience as a Pharmacist
